Data Nexus, Inc. Attends COMDEX Chicago with Xybernaut

Xybernaut held its 7th annual International Conference on Wearable Computers (ICWC) during this year's Comdex Chicago. Comdex is the universal IT marketplace that unites technology buyers and sellers online and in person. According to Bob Bierman, vice president and general manager of Comdex Chicago, "With its emphasis on eMobility, Comdex Chicago represents an excellent opportunity for exhibitors and attendees to understand that wearable computing and related technologies are here today and being employed in various innovative applications." Data Nexus, Inc. attended the conference as one such company that is using wearable computers in an innovative way by applying it to law enforcement and public safety.

Data Nexus utilizes Xybernaut's MAV to run the Polaris System for Public Safety Software enabling officers to remain connected while also remaining mobile. Officers have all the functionality they are accustom to having on a desktop computer except now they can have it while on the move and working out in the field.

Data Nexus is glad to support its partner, Xybernaut, as they continue to work together to enhance the capabilities of mobile computing in the public safety and law enforcement arenas.
